Three Illegal Immigrants Charged with Murder in Woodland Hills Home Invasion

Authorities have disclosed that three men recently apprehended by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) in connection with a violent home invasion, murder, and robbery in Woodland Hills are illegal immigrants from Eastern Europe. The suspects, identified as Georgian nationals PAATA KOCHYASHVILI, 38, ZAZA OTARASHVILI, 46, and BESIKI KHUTSISHVILI, 52, are each facing murder charges with bail set at $2 million.

Fox News confirmed that all three individuals were in the U.S. illegally, prompting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to place detainers on them.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of April 26 when LAPD officers responded to a residence in Woodland Hills for a death investigation. ALEKSANDRE MODEBADZE, 47, was discovered with a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles City Fire paramedics, as reported by FOX 11 Los Angeles.

Homicide detectives allege that the three suspects forcibly entered the home, held MODEBADZE captive, and fatally assaulted him. Hours after the alleged murder, the FBI assisted in locating and apprehending the suspects. One individual was arrested near Sepulveda and Burbank boulevards in Van Nuys, while the other two were taken into custody in Glendale.

ICE has yet to respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on the case.

This incident has reignited debates surrounding immigration enforcement, with GOP lawmakers rallying behind the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.
