FBI Arrests Wisconsin Judge HANNAH DUGAN for Allegedly Shielding Illegal Immigrant from ICE

The FBI has arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge HANNAH DUGAN for allegedly obstructing an official proceeding by hiding an illegal immigrant in her jury room to prevent their arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to Fox News sources. The arrest occurred on Friday morning following an investigation into the incident, which took place on April 18.

Federal agents from ICE, FBI, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) attempted to apprehend the undocumented individual after his scheduled criminal court appearance. However, sources claim Judge DUGAN redirected the agents to the chief judge’s office, allowing the individual to leave the building unnoticed. Federal law enforcement officials believe this was a deliberate act to help the migrant evade arrest.

Judge DUGAN is expected to make her initial appearance in federal court in Milwaukee on Friday. Earlier this week, she disputed local reports alleging her involvement in shielding the migrant, stating in a response to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, “Nearly every fact regarding the ‘tips’ in your email is inaccurate.”

The incident has sparked significant controversy, particularly after two other individuals were recently arrested by ICE in the courthouse hallways. State Representative BOB DONOVAN, a Republican, condemned the judge’s alleged actions, calling them “irresponsible” and “border[ing] on obstruction of justice.” He urged the FBI to pursue a thorough investigation and potential prosecution.

Judge DUGAN, who was elected to Branch 31 of the Circuit Court in 2016 and ran unopposed in 2022, primarily oversees misdemeanor cases. She has a background in legal aid organizations and previously served as the executive director of Catholic Charities.

Fox News Digital reached out to Judge DUGAN’s office for comment but has not yet received a response.
