In a shocking scandal unfolding in Boston, a college admission worker has been arrested on allegations of soliciting minors in exchange for sexual acts. The accused, **JACOB HENRIQUES**, 29, formerly served as an assistant admission director at Emmanuel College before his abrupt termination following the investigation.
According to federal authorities, **HENRIQUES** exploited his privileged position to gain access to the personal information of at least four prospective students, initiating contact with them under the guise of his official role. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts revealed that **HENRIQUES** contacted a 17-year-old high school student mere hours after she completed a campus tour on or around April 25. Using the phone number she provided during her admission process, he allegedly sent her explicit texts, offering $400 for sexual acts and sharing pornographic materials.
The disturbing chain of events escalated when **HENRIQUES** allegedly sent the minor five pornographic videos and asked if she would participate in a gangbang or engage in sexual intercourse with him. Despite her repeated refusals, **HENRIQUES** reportedly persisted, promising to fulfill any of her desires if she changed her mind. Federal officials confirmed that **HENRIQUES** accessed the teenager’s profile 47 times between April 25 and April 28, resorting to email communication after she blocked his number.
Authorities filed charges against **HENRIQUES** for one count of attempted sex trafficking of a minor. An Emmanuel College spokesperson expressed profound disappointment in a statement to WBZ-TV, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to its core values and support for victims. The spokesperson confirmed that **HENRIQUES** was terminated immediately following the discovery of the allegations.
**HENRIQUES** is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Boston and faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment if convicted. The FBI’s Boston Division Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force is urging potential victims who may have interacted with **HENRIQUES** between 2023 and 2024 to come forward.
